Many shoppers participated in this year's
Holiday
Passport. There was only one big
winner of the grand prize gift basket, but
everyone discovered just how easy it is to shop
downtown for the holidays. One shopper
said, "I can find something unique for each
person on my list. And you won't find it
at the mall!" There is still time to find
that perfect gift and no long lines or giant
parking lots to walk through!
New Commercial on December 7th! Thank you to
Community Television for producing the
Holiday Commercial for Downtown!
Thousands Attend Downtown Trick or Treating!
Great weather brought over 2000 kids and just as
many parents downtown to get treats from the
downtown businesses. Many stopped to take
their photo by the Creepy Coffin and others got
their scare in the
Tunnel of Terror. Thank you
to all the downtown
businesses who participated this year!
Record Numbers Attend 31st Annual International Fall Festival!
Clear skies and warm weather brought an estimated 20,000 people downtown on
Saturday, September 20th for the International Fall Festival.
Attendees saw a variety of entertainment from cloggers to belly dancers to world
flute musicians. Food, crafts, and a parade of nations rounded out the day.
If you missed the fun, you can see it all in a
slide show photographed and
produced by Shane Opatz of the Leader
Telegram. For more pictures, visit our
Photos page. A special thank you to
all of our sponsors, volunteers, and downtown
merchants who made this all possible!
Visit the
official IFF page for a complete listing!
